The issues to be dissected by our heroes are: picking up some of the remaining slack from the previous episode (i.e. Dburt's penchant for British television; the Blue Area segment highlighting Sue Simmons); the dearth of Black Nerds in cinema....why no shoutouts on shows like The Big Bang Theory or the now defunct, Chuck?; will the tragic killing of 16 Afghan citizens by a US soldier rush the timetable for the Obama administration to pull the troops out of the war?; a Mass. man was arrested for biting off the ear of the coach of the opposing team during his son's grade school basketball game and lastly, can a rash of Tide detergent thefts be connected to the drug business?

Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Please gather around your sofas this Sunday evening starting at 6pm (EST) and listen, perhaps to the greatest show on earth (well at least in our minds). The issues to be discussed are: Brazil appears to have its own Batman vigilante (with consent from the policia); the passing of French comic book artist, Jean Giraud aka Moebius; a review of the latest Disney release of John Carter; Street Fighter X Tekken finally makes it to the street; Dburt discusses a new 6 part series he discovered entitled, The Strange Talent of Luther Strode and lastly, with the rising viral popularity of the fan made Static film, will we ever see the day when Warner Brothers actually makes a full fledged movie? And remember folks, The Shoppe is just the entree! Next up, is the Afronerd featuring Captain Kirk broadcast. The topical concerns up for grabs are: in a definite Twilight Zone send up, two Florida congressman debate the state's evidence code by evoking Jay-z lyrics; the merits of the latest internet sensation/cause celeb, Invisible Children encapsulates the plight of child soldiers warring in Uganda under the auspices of the LRA leader, Joseph Kony; can a pill actually cure racism?; Dburt picks up what was left on the table from last week's show pertaining to his new found love for British television and lastly, if time permits, for our Blue Area segment, an acknowledgement of journalist and TV anchor icon, NYC Channel 4's Sue Simmons who leaves the network after 30 plus years of service.

The topics up for discussion this week are: Conservative shock jock, Rush Limbaugh feels the heat from departing sponsors after referring to a female Georgetown Law Student as a "slut" in the ongoing debate over contraceptives; Wisconsin State Senator, Glenn Grothman is introducing a bill that proposes that single parenting should be considered a form of child abuse; in a case of truth being stranger than (science) fiction-futurists foresee the possibility of "Jurassic Park-like" zoos which would showcase cloned and/or robotic animals based on long extinct specimens; for our Blue Area-positive spin segment, the story of a courageous one armed High School basketball player; a Rochester, NY student claims that she sustained harassment from her teachers after she made racial allegations stemming from her class assignment on famed abolitionist, Frederick Douglass and lastly, if time permits, Dburt will pontificate (or is that bloviate) on his love for UK television.
